Description
Holley Electric Choke housing is used on any 2300, 4150, or 4160 style carburetor that uses internal vacuum for the choke piston. The housing is the original zinc die cast material and comes with a dichromate finish. It will work for both electric and hot air choke applications, for a hot air application you will remove the threaded brass piece on the fresh air intake port and connect your choke tube. In order for your carburetor to be internal vacuum there must be a port on the side of the carburetor that pull direct manifold vacuum, that will correspond to the hole with brass restrictor on the back of the choke housing. This is the same housing that comes in Holley part number 45-223.
