Description
Adjustable Metering Plate Kit is to convert a 4160 carburetor with side hung fuel bowls that has a fixed metering Jet plate to a removable jet plate. This metering plate accepts the standard Holley Main Jet and comes with a molded notched float for clearance of the jets. The kit also includes and new metering plate gasket and replacement metering plate screws, that are Phillips head to replace the old clutch head screws. Main Jets are sold separately.
Please note you must have externally adjustable needle and seats and not whether or not there is a power valve cavity on the secondary side of your carburetor. Some early 1850 carburetors have a cavity on the secondary side of the carburetor which is covered with a steel plate and you will need to replace the steel plate with the one included in the “Cavity” Kit selected from the drop down menu.
